3-Recipe Ideas for Dry January

We all like a good party and it's fair to say that means good music, alcohol and some friends to party with. What can make the dullest people fun? What can make the worst music amazing? Alcohol. And right now with all the sh*t going on who couldn't use a good party. Who wouldn't benefit from chilling out with a glass of wine and good company?

Personally speaking, it’s not the alcohol that’s a problem, it’s the ability to control how much of it is consumed. That is why Dry January is a great idea for most anyone who drinks, even if you don’t drink much. 

Did you know it takes 4-days to detox from 2-glasses of wine? 

That means if you drink eery few days, your body never detoxes from it. The results duller skin, poor sleep, and overall gut-issues like bloating, poor detoxing ability and so much more.

Now I don’t want to take away from the joy and relaxation alcohol may bring to your life, but I am an advocate for your health and total wellbeing which means keeping alcohol at bae. However, I too like a good time and feel sometimes I need something to cut the edge or help me get though social awkwardness.When I gave up drinking for 2-years, I create some cocktails to get me through the awkwardness of being the only one not drinking.

Here’s what you will need:

  • Soda machine or sparkling water
  • 4oz of fresh ginger juice
  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Basil leaves
  • 2-bags Brain health Tea or Holy Basil tea
  • Energy Tea or Black Tea
  • Ginseng tincture

Recipe #1 “Uplift Your Mood”


  • Energy Tea or Black Tea in 1/2 cup of boiling water
  • 1-cup of ice
  • 1 tincture squirt of Ginseng
  • 1-teaspoon of honey


  1. Take all ingredients excluding the ice and add into a tall glass
  2. Add ice and mix some more
  3. Enjoy!


Recipe #2 “Chill the F*k Out”


  • 2-bags Brain health Tea or Holy Basil tea in 1/2 cup of boiling water
  • Honey or agave
  • Sparkling water
  • Lemon wedge
  • Strawberries
  • Basil


  1. A few strawberries, honey or agave, basil, Brain health or Holy Basil and mix with 1/2 cup of ice in a blender
  2. Add into a tall glass of sparkling water
  3. Garnish with a lemon wedge and strawberry Enjoy!


Recipe #3 “Self love Mocktail”


  • 1 tincture squirt of Ginseng
  • 1-teaspoon of honey
  • Ginger juice
  • 1 cup of sparkling water
  • Ice


  1. Add 1 tincture squirt of Ginseng, honey and Ginger juice into a tall glass and mix
  2. Add sparkling water
  3. Add ice
  4. Enjoy!
