Broccoli Slaw

Activated ingredients are essential in all the recipes made for Joule Diet. It's a meal plan to bio-hack the mind by healing the gut. This recipe provides essential fat, fiber, and minerals needed for an energetic, powerful day. 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons cup date syrup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup broccoli (shredded)
  • 1/2 cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon amino acid
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

COOKING TIME

20 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Whisk together first 6 ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Combine broccoli slaw, and cabbage in a large bowl.
  • Cover and chill both slaw mixture and remaining mayonnaise mixture at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • Drain slaw mixture, just before serving, discarding excess liquid; return to bowl.
  • Add reserved half of mayonnaise mixture and walnuts, tossing to coat.

APPROPRIATE FOR

12PM, 7PM, Detox, Dinner, lunch, Weightloss

TIP:

Use a Cuisinart to shred the broccoli & cabbage.
